About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process capital calls, distributions, invoices, and related transactions accurately and within deadlines
  • Support investment closings, including documentation review, investment setup, transaction recording, and settlement execution
  • Investigate, resolve, or escalate data and transaction issues within Aladdin and eFront
  • Maintain and update cash forecasts and actively manage portfolio liquidity requirements
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cash controls to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support internal stakeholders and decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Independently carry out tasks and assignments and solve problems related to private investment accounting, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for private investment transactions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Working towards completion of a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset
  • Candidates with 3+ years’ experience in a professional setting
  • Solid understanding of investment asset classes would be beneficial
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel functions to build spreadsheets and manipulate/analyze large datasets
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships internally and externally
  • Detail-oriented and exceptional at managing multiple priorities
  • Adaptive to evolving work demands
  • Commitment to AIMCo’s core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity and collaboration
  • Final candidates must undergo an acceptable credit bureau and criminal record investigation
