About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead machine learning initiatives and drive successful project delivery
Oversee planning, execution, and implementation of machine learning projects
Work closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders
Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria with stakeholders
Own end-to-end project deliverables and outcomes while managing client expectations
Understand client needs and coordinate internal teams for timely delivery of client engagements
Manage project and client engagement details, including dates, budgets, performance indicators, progress reports, contract agreements, and invoicing
Facilitate communication and maintain relationships with project stakeholders and team members
Capture project outputs, track deliverables, identify best practices and lessons learned, and incorporate feedback
Stay current with machine learning trends and identify applications within client organizations
Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams through leadership and team management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Post Secondary Degree in Science, Engineering, Business or related field
3 - 5+ years experience in industry managing projects in a technology focused environment
PMP and/or PMI-ACP certification (nice to have)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities effectively
Intermediate understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques across various domains, including their strengths and limitations
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Asana, Miro)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions while collaborating with team members and subject matter experts
Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
Confidence and sound judgment while collaborating with subject matter experts
