About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute all operations required to meet the needs for new service and material contracts for construction projects, in accordance with the policies, principles, and procedures of the control team
Review, break down, and justify potential cost variances for budget control submissions and presentation to management and executive leadership
Meet contracting demands through competitive bidding comparison tables to ensure the construction project’s needs are met
Follow material requisition procedures
Organize and lead weekly contracting meetings with the Procurement team and construction staff to resolve outstanding contracting matters and general questions
Gather project, permitting, and contracting information related to projects that have not yet started
Update the database spreadsheet used to publish the RC issuance schedule dashboard

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture and Urban Planning
Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings in AutoCAD
Advanced Excel proficiency, with the ability to analyze and process data
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Familiarity with and practical application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for process and activity optimization is a plus
Knowledge of Power BI for creating dashboards, KPIs, and management reports is a plus
