About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute the purchasing process for construction services in compliance with company policies, seeking the most competitive costs for the company
- Negotiate construction services to secure the best proposal in accordance with established parameters
- Negotiate construction materials to secure the best proposal in accordance with established parameters
- Identify and develop new suppliers of services and materials while ensuring compliance with company policies
- Adjust purchase orders according to the needs of requesting construction projects, keeping orders aligned with updated amounts
- Support construction projects in resolving commercial issues with contracted suppliers
- Support continuous improvement strategy initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture and Urban Planning, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD is a plus
- Willingness and availability to travel
