About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Handling day-to-day financial accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
Supporting monthly and annual closings in DATEV in close collaboration with the Senior Accounting Manager
Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Assisting with cost center and cost unit accounting, as well as consolidation processes in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Supporting tax return preparation and preparing analyses and reports
Contributing to the optimization and digitalization of accounting processes
Supporting the Finance Team with day-to-day activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk, further training as a financial accountant, or an equivalent qualification
Initial professional experience in financial accounting
Good knowledge of DATEV and confident use of MS Office, particularly Excel
Initial experience with Moss is a plus
Basic knowledge of cost center accounting and the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Careful, structured, and reliable working style
Eagerness to learn new things and take on responsibility
Very good German skills and good English skills
