About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and support capital expenditure (CapEx) projects across multiple IPEX manufacturing locations throughout the United States
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering and capital projects within scope, budget, and timeline
- Manage project resources, contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with plant and corporate stakeholders to develop project strategies
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve technical and engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle
- Review engineering designs, specifications, and construction documentation for compliance
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's in Engineering
- 4 years of CapEx project management experience in a manufacturing environment or related industry
- PMP certification is an asset
- Knowledge of extrusion and plastic molding equipment is an asset
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to lead and influence both internal and external project teams
- Adaptable and highly motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment
- Good knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and the Office suite
- General knowledge of mechanical concepts, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
