About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source and develop trims aligned with Design’s seasonal inspiration.
- Partner with existing vendors to present new seasonal trim options to Design.
- Create and maintain seasonal trim development purchase orders in PLM.
- Communicate daily with suppliers on order status.
- Maintain accurate order dates and tracking information in PLM system.
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure information and pricing are accurate.
- Partner with various departments to manage trims and BOM for overseas garment manufacturing.
- Work closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and Technical Design.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of experience in Trim or Product Development.
- Experience with woven, cut-and-sew, denim, leather, and novelty trim components for RTW
- Experience with PLM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear, concise communication with cross-functional teams, including Design, Production, Tech, and Fabric.
- Strong communication skills when working with overseas vendors.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Solution-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with contemporary fashion aesthetics.
- At least 2 years of experience in Production
