About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, manage, and optimize project schedules for data center construction projects
  • Develop programmatic standards for comprehensive, resource-loaded project schedules
  • Define key activities, milestones, critical approvals, long-lead procurement items, and project deliverables
  • Implement scheduling best practices, process controls, and performance measurement techniques
  • Monitor industry advancements, scheduling technologies, and innovative methodologies
  • Establish standards and train project teams on logical scheduling sequences, constraints, durations, manpower, and resource allocation
  • Train project teams to perform schedule analysis and Time Impact Analysis
  • Recommend risk mitigation strategies and support change management processes
  • Develop and implement internal controls to measure project performance and monitor progress
  • Maintain critical path logic networks and use historical data for planning and forecasting
  • Identify and solve complex project control challenges
  • Collaborate with project teams, field personnel, and clients to generate reports and track progress
  • Facilitate in-person discussions addressing project status, scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, sequencing challenges, and milestones with stakeholders and leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in project scheduling and construction project management, preferably in data center or mission-critical environments
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and best practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • PMP, PMI-SP, or other relevant certifications are a plus
