About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, manage, and optimize project schedules for data center construction projects
Develop programmatic standards for comprehensive, resource-loaded project schedules
Outline key activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long-lead procurement items, and project deliverables
Implement and refine scheduling best practices, process controls, and performance measurement techniques
Stay current with scheduling technologies and innovative methodologies
Establish standards and train project teams on logical scheduling sequences, constraints, activity durations, manpower availability, and resource allocation
Train project teams to perform schedule analysis and Time Impact Analysis
Recommend mitigation strategies for potential project delays and impacts
Assist with internal controls to measure project performance, monitor progress, and validate project information
Maintain critical path logic networks and incorporate historical data for planning and forecasting
Identify and solve complex project control challenges
Collaborate with project teams, field personnel, and clients to generate reports, track progress, and align project goals
Facilitate in-person discussions addressing project status, scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, sequencing challenges, and key milestones with stakeholders and leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
8+ years of experience in project scheduling and construction project management, preferably in data center or mission-critical environments
Proficiency in scheduling software, including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and best practices
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
PMP, PMI-SP, or other relevant certifications are a plus
