About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Aligned’s Platform Delivery training and development program for data center development and execution
Develop training materials covering the project development lifecycle, including design, preconstruction, startup, execution, commissioning, handover, and closeout
Develop training on project management processes, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting
Develop training on design and preconstruction coordination
Develop training on QA/QC and commissioning processes
Develop training on commercial management, procurement, and contract administration
Develop training on project reporting tools and dashboards
Develop training on safety, quality, and execution standards
Develop training on cross-functional workflows across Platform Delivery, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Customer teams
Support and standardize the Platform Delivery onboarding program
Train team members on project lifecycle, execution frameworks, roles, responsibilities, tools, systems, reporting expectations, collaboration processes, site orientation, and project-specific onboarding
Collaborate with Platform Delivery leadership to create programs that improve proficiency, standardize project delivery, clarify cross-functional responsibilities, reinforce tools and reporting standards, accelerate onboarding, and support safe, high-quality, predictable delivery
Review existing training materials and job responsibilities at the start of the role and identify training needs and gaps
Spend a significant portion of time writing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
Ability to cross-learn topics from other disciplines such as design and commissioning
Skilled communication using writing, verbal communication, and presentations
Writing proficiency
Ability to develop training materials using project documentation, playbooks, standards, templates, and real project examples
Ability to design and deliver training across individual or group onboarding, instructor-led sessions, workshops, and self-directed modules
Ability to present instructor-led training for complex technical topics
Ability to build trust through face-to-face interactions and interviews
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Original thinking, creativity, resourcefulness, and innovative problem-solving
Ability to work with teams in a fast-paced, energetic environment
Ideally, willingness to work at one of Aligned’s data center locations
Willingness to travel to locations in the United States up to 25%, including occasional weekends and evenings
