About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user and group management, system configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
Manage platform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
Configure and develop ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and automations using JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and integrations
Support onboarding of new services and business functions onto ServiceNow
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Manage platform security, role-based access controls, data permissions, and governance practices
Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners on platform enhancements and expansion initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

4–6 years of related professional experience, including 3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and configuration experience
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required
Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, processes, and best practices
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configuration, customization, workflow automation, reporting, security, and integrations
Working knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
Experience supporting platform administration, access management, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives
