About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define the current and target-state functional architecture for solutions, products, or business domains
- Establish design principles, functional models, capabilities, processes, and functional boundaries
- Analyze cross-functional requirements and ensure consistency across multiple teams, systems, and initiatives
- Design high-level functional models and map processes, information flows, and integrations
- Guide and oversee the work of functional analysts to ensure the quality and consistency of deliverables
- Collaborate with solution, data, integration, and enterprise architects to align functional and technical dimensions
- Evaluate solution options, impacts, risks, dependencies, and functional trade-offs
- Contribute to roadmaps, evolution strategies, and the prioritization of functional capabilities
- Participate in design reviews and confirm that solutions comply with the target functional architecture
- Present recommendations and direction to diverse business and technology audiences
- Maintain architecture documentation and promote the reuse of models, patterns, and practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience in functional analysis, functional architecture, solution architecture, or digital product design
- Ability to structure complex domains and maintain a comprehensive, coherent view
- Excellent understanding of business processes, capabilities, rules, and functional integrations
- Experience working in environments involving multiple interdependent teams, platforms, or systems
- Influential leadership and the ability to guide analysts and facilitate key architectural decisions
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, modeling, communication, and knowledge-translation skills
- TOGAF, IIBA, ArchiMate, or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of BPMN, UML, Domain-Driven Design, or functional modeling practices
- Experience with enterprise platforms, integration architectures, or large-scale transformations
- Knowledge of scaled Agile approaches, product management, or architecture governance
- French: Advanced
