About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and evolve complex React Native applications in an enterprise environment
Participate in the technical design and architecture of mobile solutions
Develop robust, reusable, and maintainable components, as well as native iOS and Android modules when required
Integrate backend APIs and native capabilities, including authentication, biometrics, secure storage, notifications, and permission management
Diagnose and resolve complex issues
Optimize application performance and ensure the security of sensitive data
Design and maintain automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
Conduct code reviews and promote development best practices
Document technical decisions and key components
Collaborate with backend, UX/UI, quality assurance, architecture, and product teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies, act as the mobile technical lead, mentor less experienced developers, and contribute to technology scouting

Requirements

What you’ll need

6–7 years of experience in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript development, with deep expertise in React
Significant experience delivering React Native mobile applications
Hands-on experience with native iOS and/or Android development, including creating or maintaining native modules
Experience with backend APIs, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD practices
Experience working in a multidisciplinary Agile squad
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and an excellent understanding of React Native architecture
Strong ability to diagnose complex, multilayered issues and explain technical concepts clearly to non-specialists
Strong knowledge of the iOS and Android ecosystems
Knowledge of React Native integrations with native layers and modules
Knowledge of authentication, biometrics, secure storage, notifications, and permissions
Knowledge of networking, performance optimization, and multi-environment configurations
Experience building, signing, and distributing iOS and Android applications
French: Fluent
English: Advanced; required for frequent communication with clients outside Quebec
