About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle Level 2 application incidents, assess them, and provide initial analysis
- Analyze logs and reproduce issues in non-production environments
- Escalate incidents requiring fixes or enhancements to the responsible teams
- Track incident resolution through to completion
- Communicate with requesters regarding incident intake and follow-up
- Complete and maintain the knowledge base
- Monitor production operations
- Take the necessary measures to meet SLAs
- Provide the project manager with the information required to establish production metrics
- Work in an IBM Mainframe environment using z/OS, MVS, ISPF/TSO, monitoring tools, batch processing, job scheduling, SQL, and ticketing systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience in application support, IT operations, or production support
- Experience in Mainframe development
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Ability to assess incidents and coordinate their resolution with various stakeholders
- J2EE development skills are an asset
- Fluency in French
