About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define, communicate, and evolve the product vision, objectives, and roadmap
- Gather, analyze, and clarify the needs of users, customers, and stakeholders
- Create, structure, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, risks, and dependencies
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear, actionable requirements
- Collaborate with development, analysis, architecture, user experience, and quality assurance teams
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies
- Balance competing needs in a complex environment
- Track outcomes, performance indicators, and user feedback
- Validate deliverables and manage expectations, risks, and dependencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Senior Business Analyst, or in a similar role
- Experience managing and prioritizing a product backlog
- Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or equivalent solutions
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and digital product management practices
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- French: Advanced
- PSPO, CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent certification (an asset)
- Experience in software development or digital transformation (an asset)
- Experience with products involving multiple teams, systems, or dependencies (an asset)
- Knowledge of product discovery, user research, and user-centered design (an asset)
- Knowledge of complex industries such as insurance, financial services, or telecommunications (an asset)
