About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Map existing securities operations processes and identify bottlenecks, risks, and inefficiencies
- Analyze production incidents and propose corrective actions
- Monitor quality and performance indicators
- Gather business requirements and draft business requirements documents and functional specifications
- Participate in transformation and automation projects
- Develop procedures and operating instructions
- Act as the liaison between operations, IT, and external vendors
- Participate in functional workshops and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Monitor production releases
- Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations while contributing to ongoing controls
- Implement action plans following audits and help secure Straight Through Processing (STP) flows
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the banking sector
- Knowledge of post-trade activities
- Knowledge of how a custodian bank operates
- Strong knowledge of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions
- Advanced Excel skills, particularly PivotTables and Power Query
- Knowledge of SQL and SWIFT MT564, MT565, and MT566 messages
- Proficiency with incident management and workflow tools
- Knowledge of VBA
- Strong analytical, organizational, and summarization skills
- Excellent communication skills when working with business and IT stakeholders, along with the ability to manage priorities
- French: Fluent
- English: Intermediate
- German: Fluent
