About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain software applications in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and/or Artificial Intelligence
Train custom machine learning and deep learning models using structured and unstructured data
Select features and build and optimize machine learning classifiers
Improve the quality of machine translation engines for each installed language pair
Interact with data stewards and IT stakeholders to define data rules
Define data controls and implement actions to ensure data quality and integrity
Create automated anomaly detection systems and continuously track their performance
Perform data mining using state-of-the-art methods
Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
Design IT architecture for NLP, ML, and AI solutions and coordinate implementation using master-data and meta-data management concepts
Analyze data architecture for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness
Contribute to data management vision, strategy, and policy and derive IT requirements
Provide expert advice and assistance on AI and Data Warehouse technologies
Design, develop, and maintain BI and reporting software according to reference architecture rules and specifications
Assist and support Advanced Analytics developers
Conduct technical studies, technical expertise, and technical evaluations related to AI systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior experience in AI and Natural Language Processing
Experience developing and maintaining software applications in NLP, Machine Learning and/or Artificial Intelligence
Experience training custom machine learning and deep learning models on structured and unstructured data
Experience selecting features and building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
Experience improving machine translation engines for installed language pairs
Experience defining data rules with data stewards and IT stakeholders
Experience defining data controls and implementing actions to ensure data quality and integrity
Experience creating automated anomaly detection systems and tracking their performance
Experience with state-of-the-art data mining methods
Experience processing, cleansing, and verifying data integrity
Experience designing IT architecture for NLP, ML, and AI solutions
Knowledge of master-data and meta-data management concepts
Experience analyzing data architecture for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness
Experience contributing to data management vision, strategy, and policy and deriving IT requirements
Expert knowledge of AI and Data Warehouse technologies
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining BI and reporting software
Experience with reference architecture rules and technical specifications
Experience supporting Advanced Analytics developers
Experience conducting technical studies, expertise, and evaluations related to AI systems
Fluent in English
Must be based in Belgium or willing to relocate to Brussels
