About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans via video visits
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
  • Complete required trainings and follow Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices
  • Educate patients on preventive care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and complete charting promptly
  • Respond to patient questions and administrative messages
  • Provide at least 10–20 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations, medical guidance, and prescribing when clinically appropriate
  • Deliver care focused on women's hormonal and metabolic conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine
  • Minimum of 2 years of consecutive clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician focused on women's health conditions
  • Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with emphasis on compassion and clarity
  • Ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
  • Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice
  • Technical proficiency with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
  • Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in one or more U.S. states
  • At least one active license must be in a state with an active hiring need
  • Multistate licensure or eligibility to license across states through the IMLC
  • Willingness to expand expertise across broader women's health care
  • Required experience treating PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto's, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression
