About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct thorough patient assessments via video visits
- Develop personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
- Complete required trainings and follow Allara’s clinical policies, standards, and best practices
- Educate patients on preventive care and wellness using evidence-based strategies
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records
- Complete charting in a timely manner
- Respond to patient questions and administrative messages
- Provide a minimum of 10–20 patient-facing hours per week, including consultations and medical guidance
- Prescribe when clinically appropriate
- Expand expertise across broader women’s health care
- Treat conditions including PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years of consecutive clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician focused on women’s health conditions
- Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, with compassion and clarity
- Ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting
- Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice
- Comfortable using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools
- Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in one or more U.S. states
- At least one active license must be in a state with an active hiring need
- Multistate licensure or eligibility to license across states through the IMLC is required
