About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Test new products and integrations
- Complete regression testing on new software for current products
- Deliver updates on current product line roadmaps
- Document playbooks for support and deployment best practices
- Recommend business solutions and plan product solution offerings with the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product
- Research and develop new ecosystem solutions and services for Allbridge markets
- Build a technical and ecosystem overview of Allbridge solutions
- Engage with Engineering Operations, Sales Engineering, Support, and other cross-functional teams
- Analyze and compare price, ease of use, and interoperability of current products
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Operations to understand needs and issues
- Assist in demos or workshops supporting sales engineering, sales, or project activities
- Provide product feature comparisons, vendor product feature lists, implementation documentation, and support playbooks
- Research best-in-class vendor partner solutions and product lines
- Vet and operationalize new product opportunities with the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product
- Manage escalations for Operations or Support when needed
- Maintain the lab environment with multiple technologies
- Back up current lab configurations weekly or after major updates
- Create and maintain deployment and support playbooks for current product lines
- Establish a network of manufacturers and vendor partners for best practices and testing
- Ensure regular QA and internal testing of vendor GA software before customer deployment
- Ensure best-in-class features are applied to Allbridge deployments
- Ensure lab equipment is operational and accessible to team members
- Report to the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Product
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technology professional with a minimum of six years of experience in deployment or similar role
- Rich experience and advanced knowledge of networking, CCTV, servers, workstations, PBX, VOIP and IPTV
- Experience in managing QA and regression testing
- Strong writing abilities for playbooks and testing reports
- A strong interest in technical products and solutions
- Proven analytical skills to provide detailed regression testing techniques and debugging information
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (oral and written)
- Must be able to travel 30%
- Positive and committed initiative-taker, structured, goal-oriented
- Good sense of ownership and come across as a likeable and trustworthy professional
- Strong collaborator and embraces a dynamic and rapidly changing product environment
