About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain relationships with network providers
  • Provide technical assistance and support to providers
  • Recruit providers to fulfill network needs
  • Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives identified internally or by the State of North Carolina
  • Assist with special initiatives
  • Manage and develop staff in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management
  • Maintain staff training, policy compliance, workflows, resources, and performance goals
  • Provide feedback, coaching, mentoring, and professional development support
  • Promote a positive, diverse, inclusive, and respectful working environment
  • Resolve conflicts and disputes
  • Assign providers to Provider Relations Specialists and maintain recruiting workflows
  • Train the team on recruiting tasks and platforms such as Salesforce
  • Monitor recruiting goals and team progress
  • Analyze the service array and identify provider gaps
  • Collaborate with the Director of Provider Network Operations to plan, develop, and implement organizational goals, policies, and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must reside in North Carolina
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from an accredited college or university and five years of experience in counseling, nursing, psychology, social work, or related human services field; OR master’s degree in Human Services and three years of related experience; OR graduation from an associate degree in nursing or diploma program of nursing and five years of experience in the treatment of mental illness
  • Preferred minimum of two years supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of disability areas including Traumatic Brain Injury, Mental Health, Substance Use, and Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities
  • Knowledge of treatment, habilitation, and support best practices
  • Knowledge of provider-impacting systems and legal, waiver, and program requirements
  • Basic project management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Leadership, team building, diplomacy, discretion, communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work successfully with interdepartmental teams
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and priorities and manage deadlines
  • Willingness to travel to the Morrisville home office for onsite team meetings as needed
