About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support producers and account managers in processing new business, renewing existing business, and day-to-day account services for clients
  • Serve as an advocate for clients and their employees through positive relationships with carriers and continuous education
  • Provide administrative support and customer service
  • Create census files for proposals and renewing business
  • Process individual and group applications
  • Compose general correspondence with clients and carriers
  • Interact with clients to respond to inquiries concerning service accounts
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and carrier representatives through exceptional customer service
  • Coordinate appropriate resources to address clients’ management needs
  • Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity by entering and maintaining complete and accurate information on a timely basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two (2) or more years related work experience
  • Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor including obtaining Group 1 licensing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
  • Problem solving and time management skills
  • Critical thinking and good judgement to quickly determine and prioritize key issues
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
