About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set up prospect and customer files, process dead files, and conduct miscellaneous filing
  • Answer telephone calls and route calls to others
  • Operate fax machines, scanners, printers, and copiers
  • Assist the service team with assembling marketing materials, proposals, and presentations for prospects and customers
  • Input prospect and customer data into applications and the agency management system
  • Provide word processing assistance as required
  • Maintain inventory and coordinate ordering of commonly used office supplies
  • Conduct agency billing and process check requests when needed
  • Maintain complete and accurate information in compliance with agency management system data standards and data integrity
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Up to 2 years related work experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
  • Good problem solving and time management skills
  • Intermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
