About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate delivery and installation with clients
- Conduct installation inspections and quality-control inspections
- Perform field measurements
- Drive a box truck to deliver cabinets and load/unload cabinets
- Hire new subcontractors
- Approve and submit subcontractor invoices/draws for payment
- Maintain competent installers and ensure paperwork is complete and timely
- Anticipate and resolve client issues
- Attend client-mandated meetings as required
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and all AIS departments
- Remain highly visible on job sites
- Coordinate all aspects of single-family project installations
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of construction experience
- Previous construction management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project Management, and Planning
- Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work remotely and travel to work sites as needed
- Strong understanding of carpentry, building, and contracting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to follow processes and adapt to changing needs
- Ability to communicate efficiently among all departments and meet deadlines
