About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet with homeowners and conduct in-home sales consultations
  • Safely access rooftops and perform roofing inspections
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate roofing, window, and siding solutions
  • Prepare and present professional estimates and proposals
  • Explain products, pricing, warranties, and installation options
  • Follow up with prospective customers and close sales
  • Manage company-provided leads and develop self-generated opportunities
  • Generate business through referrals, networking, neighborhood prospecting, and relationship building
  • Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity in company systems
  • Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Coordinate with Production and Operations to ensure a smooth handoff after the sale

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • No roofing or sales experience required
  • Hungry, motivated, competitive, and results-driven
  • Coachable and willing to follow a proven sales process
  • Personable with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong work ethic and desire to succeed
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities
  • Professional, dependable, and accountable
  • Comfortable meeting and interacting with homeowners
  • Willing to learn and take advantage of ongoing coaching and training
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment where earnings are directly tied to results
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel locally throughout the assigned sales territory
  • Must be comfortable using ladders, climbing onto roofs, and performing rooftop inspections
  • Must be able to safely carry, set up, and operate a company-provided Little Giant ladder, which must be kept with you while working in the field
  • Must follow all company ladder and rooftop safety procedures
  • Ability to attend required monthly in-person sales meetings and training sessions in Houston
  • Ability to use company technology and sales systems
  • Candidates must live within or near their assigned market and be able to serve homeowners throughout the surrounding territory
