About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform job costing for residential roofing projects
Track project costs and profitability
Process vendor and independent contractor payments accurately and on time
Maintain vendor and independent contractor records and supporting documentation
Work closely with the Controller and CFO
Partner with Operations, Production, and Sales to ensure accurate financial reporting, job costing, and timely month-end close
Work in an office environment with Operations, Production, Sales, and Executive Leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of Accounting experience
MUST HAVE Monthly Financial Close experience
MUST HAVE Job Costing experience
MUST HAVE Roofing, Construction, or other Home Services Trade experience
Advanced QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel skills
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Experience processing vendor and commission-based independent contractor payments is helpful
Experience supporting audits and implementing internal controls
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
Ability to work additional hours during month-end close when needed
