About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyse, document, and map granular business requirements to structural software components, middleware layers, and enterprise backend applications
Define and implement functional and non-functional runtime profiles, including high availability, horizontal scalability, enterprise-grade security, and low processing latency
Design and manage normalized and denormalized relational database schemas, entity relationship models, and object-relational mapping configurations
Build, test, document, and support enterprise web service integrations using asynchronous RESTful APIs, secure SOAP communication, and microservices architecture
Configure identity federation integrations using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML 2.0
Manage and provision localized, staging, and continuous testing application environments, including automated packaging and deployment workflows
Provide tier-3 engineering diagnostic support and resolve complex defects in high-load production software systems
Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, high-performance backend applications for a long-term enterprise project

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of demonstrable enterprise software development tenure in multi-tier server architectures
Strong experience with .NET Framework, including .NET Framework 4.0, .NET Core, and MySQL
Good knowledge of MVC architecture
Strong database experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Working knowledge of Python
Experience developing APIs, backend services, and enterprise applications
Good understanding of secure coding, performance optimisation, and software development lifecycle practices
Ability to work independently as well as part of a distributed project team
Flawless bilingual/native-level business German communications proficiency (C1/C2 level written and spoken) required
Must hold EU/EFTA nationality or possess an active, valid Swiss permanent residency/work card (C Permit or unrestricted B/G Permit)
