About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide individual telehealth therapy to LGBTQIA+ clients
- Deliver affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment tailored to the community’s needs
- Conduct clinical assessments
- Maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the Avon EMR
- Use evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and CPT
- Use the Trauma Journal and Written Exposure Therapy protocol to extend support between sessions
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and required clinical supervision hours
- Work toward full independent licensure
- Maintain a minimum of 10 client-facing sessions per week
- Report to the Clinical Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Maryland license as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT
- Experience and strong passion for working with LGBTQIA+ clients
- Cultural competence delivering affirming, identity-centered care
- Comfortable providing individual / 1-1 therapy in a telehealth setting
- Skilled in clinical assessment and timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Minimum commitment of 10 client sessions per week
- Flexible availability Monday to Sunday
- Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT
- Comfort with outcomes-based, measurement-informed care
- Additional licensure in DC, Virginia, or North Carolina is a bonus
