About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide individual (1-1) telehealth therapy to LGBTQ+ clients
- Deliver affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment tailored to the community's needs
- Conduct clinical assessments
- Maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the Avon EMR
- Use evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and CPT
- Use the Trauma Journal and Written Exposure Therapy protocol to extend support between sessions
- Participate in regular clinical supervision toward full independent licensure
- Maintain a minimum of 10 client-facing sessions per week
- Report to the Clinical Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active North Carolina license as an LCSWA, LCMHCA, or LMFTA
- Experience and a strong passion for working with LGBTQ+ clients
- Cultural competence delivering affirming, identity-centered care
- Comfortable providing individual / 1-1 therapy in a telehealth setting
- Skilled in clinical assessment and timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Able to commit to a minimum of 10 sessions per week with flexible scheduling Monday to Sunday
- Experience serving clients at the intersections of the LGBTQ+ community, including BIPOC and neurodivergent clients
- Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT
- Comfort with outcomes-based, measurement-informed care
