About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Increase market awareness and generate leads to grow Allucent’s customer base
  • Maintain direct contact with clients by telephone, email, and direct mail
  • Support geographically aligned Business Development team members in reaching annual sales targets
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies for long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Generate new leads and set up meetings with clients needing outsourced services
  • Partner with Business Development to develop territory plans and account ownership assignments
  • Hold weekly territory outreach planning calls with assigned Business Development representatives
  • Identify potential clients and contacts using ideal-account profiles, GlobalData, Zymewire, and news resources
  • Identify, qualify, and analyze new account potential among pharmaceutical and biotech companies
  • Identify decision-makers and introduce Allucent’s differentiators and capabilities to generate RFP and bid opportunities
  • Use activity and results data to improve outreach messaging
  • Use online tools, software, databases, and social media to identify and qualify leads
  • Develop territory and account strategies using account and industry profiling, pipeline, and therapeutic content
  • Initiate sales communications, understand prospect requirements, introduce relevant services, and engage Business Development for face-to-face meetings
  • Create messaging campaigns with appropriate cadence and follow-up, including informational emails and marketing collateral
  • Set up meetings for Business Development representatives in coordination with Marketing
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports to the Line Manager and Business Development executives
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Allucent’s operational capabilities and differentiators
  • Record all activity in Salesforce

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Life science, healthcare and/or business degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the CRO/pharmaceutical industry
  • Clear understanding of clinical trial processes
  • Basic knowledge of GxP
  • GDPR/HIPAA, CFR/CTR/CTD and applicable (local) regulatory requirements
  • Previous Salesforce experience
  • Excellent new business identification and prospecting skills with a consultative approach
  • Ability to identify client needs and new business opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills to liaise with prospective client’s key decision makers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to translate guidelines, rules and regulations into clear and usable recommendations
