About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the embedding of Allwyn's Social Value strategy, governance, processes and ways of working into business operations
- Provide leadership and direction to the Social Value team during capability building and process improvement
- Coordinate delivery of Allwyn's Social Value 2027 strategy
- Provide specialist advice, insight and challenge to senior stakeholders
- Establish scalable Social Value operating models, governance processes and ways of working
- Build organisational capability and accountability for Social Value activities
- Manage the Social Value budget, supplier expenditure and external partnerships
- Oversee operational delivery, governance, monitoring and impact measurement of the Social Value Fund
- Drive the consumer DE&I agenda around inclusion and accessibility
- Embed the Inclusion Compass and accessibility commitments
- Manage the accessibility partner relationship
- Deliver the Social Value governance framework, reporting cycle and KPI framework
- Lead senior leadership, governance, group and external reporting
- Oversee impact measurement, performance tracking, risk management and controls
- Support implementation and governance of the Net Zero roadmap
- Monitor sustainability targets and influence decisions balancing commercial and sustainability objectives
- Oversee employee volunteering and community impact programmes
- Build internal and external stakeholder partnerships and represent Social Value in forums and industry networks
- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary Social Value team
- Ensure knowledge transfer, documentation and succession arrangements for the end of the fixed-term contract
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant leadership experience in Social Value, ESG and/or responsible business
- Understanding of accessibility and disability inclusion frameworks
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of balancing social impact with business outcomes
- Experience managing budgets, suppliers and investment decisions
- Experience influencing senior leaders and Executive stakeholders
- Strong understanding of social impact measurement and governance
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder and political environments
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary specialist teams
- Experience working with public bodies, regulators, charities or community organisations (desirable)
- Knowledge of ESG, Social Value and sustainability reporting frameworks (desirable)
- Experience working with executive stakeholders (desirable)
