Key responsibilities & impact

Define and analyze solution architectures within the Mainframe ecosystem
Analyze the current architecture, processing flows, dependencies, and integrations
Evaluate interactions between components in the Mainframe environment
Analyze impacts, alternatives, and risks related to modernization and migration
Support the team in defining the modernization strategy for Mainframe processes
Support the definition of strategies for migrating Mainframe processes to external platforms
Evaluate alternatives for decoupling and modernizing legacy systems
Provide technical guidance in defining integration solutions and architectures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in Mainframe solution architecture
Solid knowledge of the z/OS ecosystem
Knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and DB2
Knowledge of IMS, CICS, and TWS/IWS
Experience analyzing flows, dependencies, and integrations between systems
Experience with Mainframe environment modernization and migration projects
Desirable knowledge: Cloud, APIs, systems integration, DevOps, and automation
Knowledge of legacy system decoupling and modernization strategies
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field
