About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work in the production and support of Mainframe systems
- Analyze workflows, processing networks, and job dependencies
- Analyze and maintain batch processes
- Identify and analyze impacts on processes and dependencies
- Troubleshoot and handle incidents in Mainframe environments
- Map current processes and their respective dependencies
- Identify opportunities to modernize and migrate Mainframe processes
- Define, together with the team, strategies for migrating Mainframe processes to external platforms
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Mainframe production and support
- Experience analyzing jobs and processing networks
- Knowledge of JCL
- Knowledge of JES
- Knowledge of TSO/ISPF
- Knowledge of SDSF
- Experience with TWS/IWS
- Experience troubleshooting Mainframe processes
- Knowledge and understanding of batch processes
- Knowledge of DB2, IMS, CICS, Control-M/CA7, system integrations, and Mainframe environment modernization and migration projects is desirable
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT)
