About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather and scope business requirements and translate them into infrastructure requirements
Design, deploy, and optimize LAN/WAN and AWS/Azure cloud network architectures
Develop and manage infrastructure roadmaps covering cloud migrations, virtualization, network segmentation, SD-WAN, and on-premises modernization
Align network and server teams on solution design and commitment tracking
Coordinate infrastructure architects, network engineers, cloud teams, vendors, managed service providers, and subcontractors
Support critical infrastructure transformations, including site relocations, IT fit-outs, hybrid cloud migrations, and the industrialization of environments
Track schedules and dependencies, anticipate blockers, plan maintenance windows, and oversee production deployments
Prepare and lead steering committees, track action plans, manage technical risks, arbitrate architecture decisions, and produce reporting
Lead network security projects involving VPN, firewall, and EDR solutions in collaboration with cybersecurity teams
Manage Service Delivery for infrastructure services and monitor SLA/KPI commitments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience managing IT projects involving infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments, with at least 3 years of experience
Experience leading cross-functional teams (DevOps, systems administration, and networking) and external service providers
Master’s-level degree (engineering school or equivalent university degree)
Fluent English
Strong technical understanding of infrastructure technologies
Good understanding of network architectures and communication protocols
Good understanding of cloud environments and high-availability principles
Good understanding of ITIL processes (change, incident, problem, and continuity management)
Excellent interpersonal, listening, diplomatic, and technical communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics
Strong communication skills and natural leadership to facilitate governance meetings
Business travel to client sites across the country
Project management certification (PRINCE2, PMI, Agile/Scrum methodologies) is a plus but not required
