Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure properly reviewed billing kits are sent to clients within the established SLA to ensure payments are made by their due dates
Receive and review client-submitted changes, ensuring compliance with contractual rules
Analyze, review, submit, and follow up on enrollment applications with the insurer and client, when necessary
Upload files to insurers’ websites or send them by email
Download invoices through insurers’ websites/channels, review them, and send them to clients; return discrepancies to the insurer for correction
Store client and insurer files in each client’s internal system
Prepare reports and allocations according to the client’s requested format
Send billing kits to clients by email or through the system, within the SLA and including all required files
Negotiate extensions to invoice due dates with carriers in the event of departmental errors or delays
Address client questions by email or phone
Enter policy endorsements into Alper’s internal system
Keep internal controls completed and up to date
Propose improvements to the processes under your responsibility
Contribute to the training of Insurance Technician I team members
Participate in client meetings
Support corporate clients

What you’ll need

High school diploma; college coursework in Business Administration, Insurance, or related fields is preferred
Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Basic knowledge of Group Life Insurance
Commitment to delivering high-quality work
Organization
Analytical skills
Strong communication skills
