About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Register all cases received for analysis and update the status at each stage of the process under your management.
Conduct preliminary analyses of incoming requests, determining whether additional information is needed to prepare competitive quotes suited to the Insured’s profile.
Request, organize, and manage submissions sent to insurance companies.
Maintain records of requests under your management and monitor their status with the commercial teams.
Support other technicians on the team in analyzing requests and conducting inquiries with the insurance market.
Act as a point of contact for insurers, providing clarification and sending supplementary information.
Meet established deadlines and contribute to achieving performance indicators (SLA, quality, and productivity).
Participate in alignment meetings and discussions of complex cases, proposing technical solutions and alternatives.
Support the technical development of less experienced technicians by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to standardizing the team’s routines.
Support clients in technical discussions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma.
Certifications and continuing education courses in commercial insurance will be considered an advantage.
Experience in underwriting, with a track record of handling moderately complex cases.
Experience managing critical negotiations and engaging directly with insurance company executives and strategic clients is preferred.
Strong knowledge of the insurance lines for which you will be responsible for submitting requests to the market.
Ability to perform detailed technical analyses, interpret complex documents, and prepare technical opinions.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and request management systems.
Strong communication and technical negotiation skills with insurers and clients.
Ability to translate complex technical topics into accessible language for different audiences.
English proficiency preferred: intermediate to advanced, for communication with international insurers and reinsurers.
