About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a Senior Consultant specializing in Corporate Benefits
- Lead highly complex corporate benefits quotations
- Evaluate quotation forms
- Map current benefits and terms
- Conduct contract analyses and diagnostic assessments
- Analyze benefits policies and/or collective bargaining agreements
- Develop strategies to validate scenarios with requesters
- Recommend plan designs or redesigns
- Send forms and enter data into carriers’ and insurers’ portals
- Receive and tabulate proposals
- Negotiate with carriers to obtain the best proposals
- Prepare Excel comparisons of costs, terms, coverage, and differentiators
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations
- Present potential impacts of proposed changes
- Analyze provider networks
- Prepare customized presentations and materials according to each client’s needs
- Support client meetings presenting study results as a technical resource
- Support management in strategic meetings with carriers and insurers
- Manage time, processes, priorities, and urgent requests
- Support the team with material reviews and validations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed
- Previous experience in the role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and delivery-prioritization skills
- Experience in placement
- Knowledge of benefits products
- Established relationships with key benefits partners
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of RFP and BID processes
