About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage proceedings related to rental disputes in support of the territorial departments serving the Grenoble metropolitan area
  • Carry out the actions required to monitor and manage customers involved in litigation proceedings, particularly lease termination proceedings
  • Initiate and commence civil enforcement proceedings, particularly wage garnishment proceedings
  • Pursue amicable compensation claims against the French State and refer the matter to the administrative court where necessary
  • Monitor Banque de France case files
  • Monitor cases and actions based on the amount of outstanding debt, procedural deadlines, and available remedies
  • Monitor payments
  • Contact customers and partners throughout the proceedings
  • Represent Alpes Isère Habitat at meetings related to the area of activity
  • Attend meetings with internal and external partners
  • Monitor legislative developments
  • Join a four-person team reporting to the Head of the Partnerships and Arrears Prevention Department

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least a two-year higher education qualification (Bac +2) in law, civil proceedings, and enforcement procedures
  • At least three years of relevant litigation experience, ideally
  • Initial experience with a social housing provider would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong service orientation, and active listening skills
  • Knowledge and application of legislation and regulations relating to leases, arrears management, and over-indebtedness
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflict situations
  • Meticulous and rigorous approach
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Self-motivation, organization, ability to prioritize, and initiative
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • Category B driving licence required
  • Travel to the various sites within the assigned area
