About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate activities between Alpha Impulsion teams in Toulouse and Naples and academic/industrial partners across Europe
- Support reporting project progress to funding institutions, space agencies, and other key stakeholders
- Contribute to resource planning and long-term company strategy
- Organize resource allocation and logistics of test articles
- Lead or contribute to rocket engine testing operational planning and testing operations
- Work with Systems Engineering to balance scope, budget, and schedule
- Maintain a global overview of project progress and scope
- Own and update the project schedule based on partner and supplier updates
- Revise dependencies and alert on tasks with limited margin or near the critical path
- Monitor long lead-time items, supplier delays, and logistical constraints
- Track project risks and implement prevention and mitigation measures
- Organize meetings and general assemblies, record notes, prepare progress reports, and act as the project’s main point of contact
- Maintain project management documentation
- Support engineering teams in interfacing with external partners
- Contribute to development and testing of the GARNET full-scale autophage engine
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent Engineering discipline
- 2 to 5 years of experience on space product development in the industry
- Experience in a New Space company is positively regarded, especially launchers/propulsion
- Demonstrated experience in a junior or assistant project management position on an aerospace project
- Understanding of the fundamental principles of Project Management
- Deep understanding of rocket propulsion and rocket propulsion testing
- Previous work experience in rocket propulsion is a major plus
- Interest in a startup environment: autonomy, accountability, and pride of ownership
- Professional English required
- Proficiency in French or Italian will be considered favorably
