About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead or co-lead New Jersey registered apprenticeship program design and expansion
- Recruit employer sponsors and align on-the-job learning with related instruction
- Coordinate with training providers, workforce boards, and community partners
- Plan recruitment and supports for apprentices from underrepresented groups
- Track apprentice enrollment, completion, and wage outcomes
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to WIL proposals when you authorize naming
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience sponsoring, operating, or intermediating registered apprenticeship programs
- Working knowledge of the New Jersey workforce and apprenticeship landscape
- Employer partnership and program management experience
- Outcome tracking and reporting experience
- Comfortable as a project-based contract collaborator; remote US with New Jersey focus
- New Jersey-based organization or professional network (nice to have)
- Pre-apprenticeship or youth apprenticeship experience (nice to have)
- Prior state workforce grant experience (nice to have)
