About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess the current child support system and federal OCSS certification requirements
- Recommend modernization strategies, including transfer, COTS, modular, or cloud approaches
- Advise on federal funding (APD), data conversion, and interfaces
- Contribute to RFI responses and roadmap documents
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narratives to AlphaGov proposals when authorized to be named
- Confirm scope, schedule, and fee before any engagement begins
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of professional experience with state child support enforcement (IV-D) systems or programs
- Knowledge of federal OCSS certification and APD processes
- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant
- Mainframe modernization experience (nice to have)
- Human services IT program management (nice to have)
- Former IV-D agency staff (nice to have)
