About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess voter registration, list maintenance, and election management workflows
- Define requirements for statewide voter registration system modernization
- Advise on HAVA, NVRA, and security requirements and integrations with DMV, ERIC, and vital records
- Support vendor evaluation, implementation planning, and testing
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when authorized
- Work as a remote-first, project-based collaborator with occasional client travel
- Confirm scope, schedule, and fee with AlphaGov before any engagement begins
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of professional experience with election administration or statewide voter registration systems
- Knowledge of HAVA and NVRA requirements
- Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant
- Election security / CISA experience (nice to have)
- Former state or county election official (nice to have)
- PMP (nice to have)
