About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead or support disaster community impact studies and related EM / resilience assessments for county and state clients
- Design and execute community impact methodologies, including household/business surveys, stakeholder interviews, and secondary data synthesis
- Align findings to FEMA/OHSEM or grant-program reporting frameworks where applicable
- Produce reports, recommendations, and presentation materials for emergency management leadership
- Contribute EM/disaster-impact content and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on emergency management, disaster recovery, or community impact study delivery for public-sector clients
- Ability to lead or support mixed-methods community impact assessment and client workshops
- Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites
- Prior county OHSEM / homeland security / FEMA-funded assessment experience (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Texas or large-county EM program environments (nice to have)
- Relevant credentials (CEM, PEM, or similar) (nice to have)
