About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead or support municipal classification and compensation studies for Southeast city and county clients
  • Conduct job analysis, market pricing, pay-structure design, and stakeholder workshops
  • Build comparator peer sets appropriate to Southeast municipalities and school districts
  • Produce clear reports, ranges, and implementation recommendations for HR and leadership
  • Present findings to boards, councils, and executive sponsors
  • Contribute Southeast municipal classification/compensation content and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned
  • Support active and upcoming South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia pursuits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on municipal (city/county) classification and/or compensation study delivery
  • Ability to lead or support job analysis, market pricing, structure design, and client workshops
  • Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites
  • Prior Southeast municipal or school-district public-sector references (nice to have)
  • CCP, SPHR, or similar credentials (nice to have)
