About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and facilitate leadership development and management consulting programs for municipal clients
- Deliver cohort workshops, coaching frameworks, competency models, and manager toolkits
- Align curriculum to public-sector leadership realities, including councils, boards, bargaining environments, and resident accountability
- Produce program designs, evaluation metrics, and final reports for HR and executive sponsors
- Contribute leadership-development content and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned
- Support active and upcoming municipal leadership pursuits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on public-sector leadership development, management consulting, or municipal training program delivery
- Ability to design curriculum and facilitate workshops for managers/supervisors
- Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed
- Prior Virginia / Mid-Atlantic municipal or county leadership program experience (nice to have)
- Coaching credentials (ICF or similar) or adult-learning credentials (nice to have)
- Experience presenting to town councils, boards, or executive teams (nice to have)
