About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage pull request and merge workflows in GitHub across multiple repositories and squads
- Review pull requests for readiness, required approvals, and passing status checks
- Perform merges into release branches according to approved release scope
- Enforce branching strategy and version control standards
- Create release branches, perform cherry-picks and hotfix merges, and apply tags
- Coordinate resolution of merge conflicts, failed checks, and out-of-scope or late changes
- Coordinate end-to-end production releases into live trading environments
- Validate CI/CD pipeline outputs, build integrity, versioning, and artifact readiness
- Perform release readiness checks covering regression results, environments, configuration, and rollback preparedness
- Oversee deployment execution according to runbooks, schedules, and change-management procedures
- Coordinate cross-system dependencies including APIs, trading engines, and market data feeds
- Monitor production releases using logs, metrics, and alerts
- Support incident triage and rollback decisions
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, engineering, Product, and Leadership teams
- Track and report release status, risks, and post-release issues
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements in the forex/financial environment
- Improve release processes, GitHub workflows, and tooling
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years in Release Coordination, or Development and Delivery roles
- Hands-on experience managing pull requests, merges, and release branches in GitHub or similar platforms
- Experience with branch protection rules, code review workflows, and tagging/versioning practices
- Solid understanding of Git branching strategies, including GitFlow or trunk-based development
- Conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling
- Experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously
- Proven experience following and enforcing structured release processes
- Experience in fintech, online trading platforms, or fast-paced product environments preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment
