About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain customer-facing experiences using Astro and React
Translate design intent into polished, resilient interfaces with Product and Design
Own responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility and progressive enhancement
Implement accessibility, Core Web Vitals, component quality and front-end caching
Deliver end-to-end features across Cloudflare Workers, including API routes, edge logic and integrations
Build integrations with forms, CRM/marketing tools such as HubSpot and headless CMS platforms such as Storyblok
Make architectural decisions using Cloudflare caching, KV and CDN
Address internationalisation and localisation for different markets
Use AI tooling for scaffolding, refactoring, debugging and documentation, verifying all output
Write unit and component tests and collaborate on end-to-end, visual regression and accessibility automation
Integrate work through Git, GitHub Actions and Jira-based Agile workflows
Shape architecture through code quality, reviews and mentoring by example
Improve codebase and team workflows and document code clearly

Requirements

What you’ll need

Substantial hands-on experience as a front-end-focused full-stack engineer with senior-level ownership; often five or more years
Strong React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript skills
UI/UX sensibility, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, progressive enhancement and component architecture
Backend development with Cloudflare Workers or equivalent edge/serverless platform and Node-based API services
Regular use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Cursor
Experience with Storyblok or another headless CMS and third-party integrations such as HubSpot
Understanding of accessibility, Core Web Vitals and caching across browser, CDN and edge
Unit and component testing with Vitest, React Testing Library or similar
Git, Agile delivery and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions
Sound architectural judgement and ability to shape technical direction without formal authority
Proactive investigative mindset
Helpful: internationalisation/localisation, agentic AI or MCP tooling, QA/SDET collaboration, Lighthouse or similar, e-commerce/re-commerce experience
