About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the project team by operationally managing the resources and skills assigned to the project
- Ensure technical delivery, monitor functional analysis, and control client requirements
- Manage project quality, cost, and delivery
- Estimate workload and unfinished work
- Plan and assign activities
- Prepare and lead weekly project committees
- Prepare monthly project reviews
- Apply ALTEN's processes, methods, and tools, specifically the ADF kit
- Monitor KPIs and prepare operational project reports for the project manager
- Apply group quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
- Participate in ALTEN Mexico's internal initiatives
- Comply with company safety and hygiene standards and procedures
- Follow applicable Quality Management System policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Coordinate Team Pilots (Team Leaders / Batch Manager)
- Provide functional management for CP level 1, Lot Managers, and consultants
- Transmit knowledge and ensure team skills development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mechatronics Engineer or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- Experience in a related technical field is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts
- Results-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Full stack development (Java / app development / Python)
- Embedded systems: Communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Hardware in loop (HIL)
- Green Belt / Black Belt or Project Management certification (desirable)
- Scrum certification (desirable)
- Scrum Master
