About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in agency projects from preliminary design through construction acceptance
- Conduct assessments and rehabilitation projects for water-sector infrastructure
- Carry out design studies for drinking water and wastewater structures and infrastructure
- Conduct and monitor related and supplementary studies
- Manage tendering and bid analysis phases (ACT)
- Manage construction supervision phases (VISA, DET, OPC and AOR)
- Participate in technical studies in urban hydraulics, as well as drinking water and wastewater diagnostics and master plans
- Monitor and manage construction execution
- Ensure construction supervision and project management
- Accept completed works and manage project closeout
- Work under the responsibility of the Agency Director, with support from the Engineering Design Management Department
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree at Master’s level or an engineering degree in hydraulics, public works, or civil engineering
- At least 6 years of experience
- Proficiency in CAD and drafting software, particularly AutoCAD and COVADIS
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills for monitoring construction execution with clients and contractors
