About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform at least two rental and retail classifications, including cashiering, rental ski and binding fitting, demo ski and binding fitting and sales, and/or retail soft goods sales
Perform binding adjustments using standard hand tools and a binding testing machine
Switch roles often within a single shift in fast-paced shops
Retain and relay product and rental-equipment safety information to customers
Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 years of previous work history/education required
Cash handling experience preferred
Guest service experience required
Previous computer experience required (Windows, Microsoft Office)
May be required to pass ski binding certification program
Must maintain neatly groomed appearance
Adhere to all safety policies
Knowledge of ski industry preferred
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standards
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must be a minimum 18 years of age
Communicate clearly in English
